“My Dad was a resident at Epworth Manor in Tyrone Pa. He suffered from Alzheimers. The Hospice team came into the picture after he had been there for about a year. I cannot express enough how grateful we are for their time, expertise and kindness. Because of the pandemic I could not get in to see my Dad, but the Hospice nurse always called once a week to let me know how he was doing. When he passed, the follow up from Grane was greatly appreciated. I have received information, cards, and phone calls, all giving me encouragement and sympathy and information on how to handle grief. “My mother was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer on a Thursday and by Saturday of that week Grane had her in the system and attendants in place the Monday of the following week. Adam (Case Manager) and the other staff were in constant contact, letting me know how their visits were and how my mother was doing. This was greatly appreciated as we weren't able to visit her due to COVID restrictions (she was in a nursing facility). After her passing everyone was so helpful and genuine.
